Jiri Mestecky Chair

Organizes a wide selection of open programs throughout the year, often in cooperation with other committees. Members are encouraged to propose ideas for speaker programs and to participate in their development.

Objectives

• Continue to expand on the quality of programming
• Secure more high profile speakers
• Expand relationships with academic institutions, chambers of commerce, etc.

2006 Achievements

Speaker Programs & Networking

• Held first joint event with the ACCJ Tokyo in Tokyo
• Held first event with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce
• A record year for attendance at events and revenue generated by the events

Other

• Started the "Leadership Series" with headlining speakers from Matsushita, Tokyo Star Bank and Starbucks
• P&G opened their own internal Director's College seminars for ACCJ members to attend
