2008 Committee Description
The International Education committee reviews regulatory and taxation issues for international educational institutions.  It offers information and reviews on international education services and opportunities.  IE also provides career enhancement training for ACCJ members and guests.

2008 Committee Objectives

• Provide at least four times the number of meetings as in 2007
• Consult the committee members on what they would like to gain from the committee
• In response to members requests - provide new corporate training higher educationa and market opportunities to our members.

2008 Achievements
Advocacy

• In 2005-2007 IE raised and achieved a couple advocacy issues.
• However 2008, in response to committee members requests, IE  focused more on corporate training and educational opportunities and markets.
