2008 Committee Description
The committee focuses on recruitment, activation and retention of ACCJ members. Monitors and reports on membership trends via analysis of monthly membership activity and make recommendations to the BOG and ACCJ office to enhance recruiting and retention activities. The committee welcomes new members and researches ways to make membership more meaningful and valuable. Committee members host social and networking events as well as make phone calls and send e-mail follow-up to both new and inactive members in order to increase participation in ACCJ events. The committee also reviews criteria for membership and periodically presents options to the BOG.
The mission of the MRC is "More Happy Members." During our monthly meetings, we review membership trends, event and members satisfaction surveys, and generate ideas for increasing member happiness.
2008 Committee Objectives
- Maintain members at or above 3,000
- Increase and respond better to feedback from members on how the Chamber is meeting their needs
- Update the orientation video--receive bids, decide on provider, and have new video by end of the year
