In retrospect, it was inevitable that Comic Con would be a hit in the land of cosplay and anime. But sponsors were skeptical until the first Tokyo Comic Con provided proof of concept.
Now in preparation for its second edition, Tokyo's show is on track to become the largest Comic Con in the world, a title currently held by Sao Paolo. (For reference, Tokyo's Comiket - Comic Market - consistently draws over 500,000 people.)
Come and hear the origin story of Tokyo Comic Con, and learn how it’s growing as a force in earned media.
Tokyo Comic Con is recognized by Silicon Valley Comic Con, conceived by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. It exhibits the latest in technology and entertainment - and, of course, cosplay.
