David Bennett is President and Chief Executive Officer of Lenovo Japan and NEC Personal Computers, a leading Japanese brand that today is a joint venture of Lenovo and NEC Corporation.
During his presentation, David will discuss Intelligent Transformation in the world around us and how AI, IoT, Big data and AR/VR offer significant potential for enriching human lives. He plans to discuss unique perspectives and insights on the AR/VR market; for instance, today AR/VR is widely accepted by consumers for enhancing gaming and the viewing of 3D contents - David will discuss how several Japanese companies are leveraging AR/VR technology for “non-entertainment“ purposes such as: VR for Fire Evacuation Training and AR for providing Repair Engineers with Improved Online Manuals.
Leveraging his international background and experience, David plans to discuss several of his unique customer-centric insights and perspectives on Product R&D and Marketing in Japan. David will share his unique role within a global company in Japan leading Japanese teams and forging ideas and initiatives with a global company's operations and products to help transform his company’s global product-centric approach into one that is customer centric and how Japanese ideas are contributing to his firm's worldwide success and growth. David was educated in Japan, has significant Japan work experience, and speaks Japanese fluently.
