Join Bruce Pomer of Westgate Advisory Co., LTD for a lively discussion of the ins and outs of buying and selling a business in Japan.
Bruce will discuss the following:
1. Preparing a business for sale: What steps can you take to prepare your business before sale? These steps involve many aspects of business, from marketing and sales to company structure and governance.
2. Valuation of companies: Why do some companies fail to sell and others sell for very high amounts? The amount of money that a company is worth depends on several factors, and understanding these can help you increase the value of your business.
3. Keys to a successful sale: Preparing your company for sale and determining a value for it are crucial steps, but they're not the only determinants of a successful sale. You'll need to keep these keys in mind, as well.
4. The sales process and beyond: Bruce will provide an overview of the sales process, from initially deciding to offer your business for sale through to completing the sale.
Whether you're looking to sell your business, considering the purchase of a business, or just want to get a solid start on opening a business, an understanding of the sales process will aid you in strategy, planning, and motivation.
