Recent media reports suggest that investment in India is once again "hot." Come to our October Alternative Investment Subcommittee meeting to find out why and learn how best to invest in Indian opportunities. Our speaker will be Mr. Anish Mathew of Sundaram Asset Management, one of India's oldest asset management firms. Sundaram's Select Mid-Cap Fund has shown an excess return of 11.2% over the MSCI India Index since launch in July 2002.
Mr. Mathew will speak to us regarding developments in the Indian economy and what types of returns investors can expect over the next few years by following the "right" India investment strategy.
Please join us on October 4 for a fascinating overview of this often misunderstood investment venue.
Mr. Anish Mathew is the Chief Executive Officer & Chief Investment Officer of Sundaram Asset Management, Singapore. Anish has over 25 years of experience in Indian and Asian capital markets. Prior to joining Sundaram Asset Management, Anish worked with Société Générale Asset Management Singapore and Deutsche Asset Management Singapore, where he was responsible for Asian equity investments with a focus on Asian Emerging Markets. Anish holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Honours) from Delhi University, India and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (MBA) from the Xavier Institute of Management, India.
