The Kansai Chapter Business Programs Committee of ACCJ strengthens the Kansai and West Japan business environment through a variety of open forums and innovative programs that explore vital management issues and offer industry insights and analysis. We often work in cooperation with other ACCJ committees and organizations, domestic and international. Members are encouraged to propose ideas for speaker programs and to participate in their development.
Objectives:
The 2011 BPC goals focus on improved programs, increased event attendance and revenues, and BPC leadership development.
1. Engage the BPC membership through delegating and empowering individual contributors to organize events and interact in the ACCJ committees.
2. Expand BPC programs to provide a forum for exchange between ACCJ membership and Japanese government, companies and organizations on business strategies, management approaches and leadership.
3. Support globalization, development of leadership and entrepreneurship to meet the interests of members and international business community.
4. Facilitate surveying BPC event attendees to develop more focused programs that increase attendance and revenue.
5. Increase the amount of collaborations and events between BPC and other committees.
