ACCJ Committees

Representing Numerous Interests and Industries in Japan

Committees and subcommittees are the lifeblood of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ). Committees meet on a regular basis and are broad-based in nature; subcommittees are industry-specific groups that operate under the aegis of a parent committee. Collectively they represent a wide range of interests and industries in Japan.

Each year the committees and subcommittees organize more than 500 events, lectures, and seminars featuring global business leaders, government officials, and Japan specialists. These events provide members with unique and dynamic perspectives on business and industry in Japan, as well as a forum for networking among international executives.

Note: While the vast number of Committees, Subcommittees, and Task Forces are open to all members, the Chairs do have the right to restrict membership and/or attendance, and some Committees, Subcommittees, and Task Forces may also charge additional dues.
