The IP Committee holds both advocacy, capacity building and social events. For example, the committee will provide input and opinions both to the US and Japanese government on IP related issues. In addition, the committee will hold seminars and workshops for its members on topics related to IP matters. Speaker include US and Japanese government officials. The committee also hosts AIPLA each year for a exchange of views and current information about US and Japanese IP laws.
