Representing the Finest in Nagoya Business
In general, the nearly 150 members of the ACCJ-Chubu are the youngest of all the ACCJ locations. They are extremely active and energetic, as exemplified by the fact that roughly 50% are entrepreneurs. The primary industries in Nagoya business - aerospace, automotive and heavy industry - are well-represented in the membership.
The ACCJ-Chubu members are a close group, who know each other well and are always willing to help one another. While many of the events planned by the nine active Chubu chapter committees are focused on serious topics relevant to Nagoya business, the Chubu chapter also plans a lot of activities that are just plain fun.
A large percentage of the membership, roughly 65%, are non-Japanese, some of whom are long-term residents and others who stay for a shorter length of time on a company rotation. 90% of the ACCJ-Chubu members reside in Nagoya.
