occurred on 3/11. Many ideas about how and what to reconstruct have been
floated in various quarters. Government, businesses and local
communities must work together, and foreign capitalized firms can play a
significant role as well.
This Town Hall Meeting is an opportunity for all of us to hear from
important Japanese political leaders concerning what is likely to happen
and what will not. They will consider the decision-making process and
outline realistic scenarios for the Japan that will emerge. It is also
an opportunity for these key Japanese decision-makers to learn directly
from us how we too can contribute to these epoch making events.
Due to the unique format for discussion, lunch will begin promptly at 12
noon. The panelists will begin their discussions at 12:30, with
interactions with the audience from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., followed by a
networking session until 2:30 p.m.
