Education, Learning in the 21st Century: What every business professional or parent needs to know.

21st century learning refers to a growing global movement to redefine the goals of education and to transform how learning is practiced in order to meet the new demands of the 21st Century. One of the key questions of 21st century learning is ?What do students need to learn to help them succeed in our modern, global times?" Other questions to be addressed in this presentation are:

1. What is "Learning in the 21st century"?
2. What are the conditions for "global human resources"?
3. How to raise the 21st century child (language, attitude, skills, etc.)
4. What is the International Baccalaureate?
5. DISK, as the 21st century International School.

The issue of "What kind of school is an international school?" will also be addressed. The four aspects that must be found in an international school according to our speaker are:
1. Student diversity
2. Teacher diversity
3. English language background - world communication language
4. Curriculum based on international standards - content common to all countries
