NASA and JAXA are two of the most active and accomplished space agencies in the world and both are currently working with other national space programs to consider the next steps in space exploration. The history of collaboration between the U.S. and Japan in space stretches back 40 years and future activities will certainly include significant contributions from both countries. From major multi-national projects like the International Space Station, one of the most incredible achievements in human history, to the fascinating successes of NASA's Mars Curiosity Rover and JAXA's Hayabusa asteroid return mission, the U.S. and Japan have carried on the legacy of the Apollo lunar missions in continuing to push the boundaries of space.

Mr. Chris Blackerby (NASA) and Dr. Hitoshi Kuninaka (JAXA) will provide updates on what is happening now, and what we can look forward to next, in the field of robotic and human space exploration. Following brief presentations, Mr. Blackerby and Dr. Kuninaka will answer questions from the audience about JAXA and NASA activities.

A selection of wine and cheeses will be provided during the presentation.
