JETRO: FY2013 Subsidy Program for Projects Promoting Asian Site Location in Japan

Japanese Fiscal Year 2013 Subsidy Program for Projects Promoting Asian Site Location in Japan (Locational Subsidy) was announced on April 1st. The application details can be found here (Application Period: April 1st to June 3rd).

The subsidy aids part of the initial site set-up cost (facility purchase/construction cost, equipment cost, equipment installation cost, facility lease fee and other cost; maximum amount is five hundred million yen) of Global Companies' high-value-added site (Regional Headquarters or R&D site) in Japan.

The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is a free service provided by the U.S. Government to U.S. citizens who are traveling to, or living in, a foreign country.

STEP allows you to enter information about your upcoming trip abroad so that the Department of State can better assist you in an emergency.

STEP also allows Americans residing abroad to get routine information from the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.
