Wendy's returned in 2011, this time with a new partner, a new strategy, and a modern flagship store in Omotesando. Having introduced delivery pizza to Japan with Domino's, Ernest Higa turned his efforts to bringing back the venerable chain. Not only does the new Wendy's have the chain's signature items, its Japan Premium menu moves into the gourmet burger realm while adjusting to the local palate.
