Event Overview:
How do leaders influence others now compared to 20 years ago? Our business environment has changed rapidly as our workforce diversifies and the same top-down approach no longer resonates with our aspiring leaders. Leaders using a "coaching approach" are increasing so much so that Harvard Business Review estimates that U.S. companies spend over $1 billion on coaching per year.
In this workshop, we will introduce and practice how to use coaching skills to influence those around you in a positive, professional way. Whether you are a senior executive, middle manager or future leader, these concepts and best practices will provide some quick hints on how to effectively work and communicate with your colleagues.
Josh Rhodes and Mariko Saigo both work as bilingual Executive Coaches for COACH A in their Tokyo office and specialize in coaching expatriates in and outside of Japan. While providing an interactive coaching environment, they will introduce some concepts and skills in which you can practice, receive feedback and take back to your workplace on the spot.
