American Bar Association President Wm. T. (Bill) Robinson III will discuss the unique role of lawyers in society and the responsibility of the profession to serve communities. As advocates for their clients, lawyers are a conduit to justice. Free or reduced-fee legal assistance is a lifeline to those in need, especially in our time of economic hardship. In the event of natural or manmade disaster, lawyers can fulfill critical roles helping their communities rebuild and their neighbors recover.
