Associate

Starting a Business in Japan, or Looking for a Way to Connect Outside of your Company? Try an ACCJ Associate Membership

Associate Memberships

For individuals not associated with, representing or sponsored by an organization.

ACCJ membership is not only for large, multinational corporations. Those starting a business in Japan, established entrepreneurs, or individuals whose companies are not members of the ACCJ, can all benefit from the vast network and unrivaled information and advocacy available to all ACCJ members.

Though Associate Members have more limited options for promotion than commercial members, their involvement in ACCJ activities, endeavors and leadership are unrestricted. However, Associate Members do not have the ability to vote on constitutional matters or in ACCJ elections.

There are two types of Associate Memberships: Individual Membership (IM) and Non-Resident Membership (N).

Individual Membership (IM)

Individual Membership is reserved for individuals not associated with, representing or sponsored by an organization, and who reside within 100 kilometers from the Tokyo, Kansai or Chubu ACCJ offices. For the complete listing of benefits, visit the Membership Benefits page.

Annual dues: 75,000 yen
One-time entrance fee: 15,000 yen

Non-Resident Membership (N)
