20th Anniversary Walkathon is an all-day outdoor festival for charity, and is supported and attended by the American business community and its Japanese friends and associates. In 2010, the Walkathon raised 7 million yen for needy charities such as orphanages, the homeless, victims of child abuse and the physically and mentally challenged. Over the past 19 years, we have raised over 78 million yen in total, and this year's goal is to raise 10 million yen. In addition to the organized 5km walk that goes around the Toyota Automobile Museum Classic Car Festival in the morning, there will be international grommet street, live bands, kids games, raffles, and other activities all day long. In 2010 more than 2,500 participants attended the event in rain, including several hundred Americans and other foreign representatives of the international business community in Nagoya. Come and enjoy an international day in May!

Tickets: 2000 Yen for adults and 1000 Yen for students (including Collage). Tickets can be purchased on the day or in advance from Shooters Sports Bar and Grill, ACCJ Chubu Office, and H & R Consultants. All proceeds go to charity. The ticket price includes the walk, a raffle ticket, and an original t-shirt. For more information and a full list of events and attractions visit the Walkathon website at www.NagoyaWalkathon.com.
