Many people in Japan respond negatively to the term "work-life balance." That's hardly surprising in a country where only half of full-time employees take their annual paid vacation time. Regardless of how it is viewed - WLB is important - now, more than ever.
And now we have an opportunity to create it, as we take a step back, reflect, and reset our priorities, with the realization the our "plans" can change in an instant. Creating work-life balance is an ongoing challenge and can only be achieved through individual commitment. It is our responsibility to strive to create the lives we want to lead. This workshop will get you started now (don't put it off!) making lasting changes for a fulfilling life - which includes work.
What you will learn:
- How to manage time, energy and expectations
- How to develop useful habits and routines
- How to prioritize, compartmentalize, and plan
- How to support maternity and paternity leave and flex time options
- Tips and behaviors that help you create the life you want now

Each ACCJ Workshop will be a stand-alone, three-hour experiential workshop, led by a well-trained facilitator. The series will be held at International House in Roppongi with a participation fee of 5,300 yen for ACCJ members. Light refreshments will be served.
To maximize participation and learning, attendance will be limited. As the workshops tend to fill-up quickly, participants will be taken on a first come, first served basis. Detailed descriptions of the workshops are available via the link below.
