OVERVIEW: Dr. Joseph Haldane is the founder and Executive Director of the International Academic Forum (IAFOR), a Japan-based think tank formed in 2009.



Joe痴 presentation will tell the story of an accidental entrepreneur, and how he made the transition from theory to practice, and look at the pros and cons of being an amateur in the business world, being prepared for and taking advantage of the unexpected, and reappraising the concepts of failure and success. This is the business story of a personal, intellectual and emotional journey that is still being written, and will doubtless resonate with the audience.



BIO: Joe attended university, and is of the race of doctors. His research interests include oenology and gastronomy and he has the largest collection of privately held Thomas the Tank Engine memorabilia in Nagoya.
