For diversity to become truly integrated into the organizational culture, it is not enough to have senior management aligned with HR policies adapting to the needs of diverse staff. Instead, it is essential to have the buy-in from all managers to learn and practice skills as diversity-competent managers. Using professional actors and facilitation, this talk will take an interactive approach involving audience participation to provide: - An exploration of possible initiatives from the perspective of managing diverse talent on a day-to-day basis - An opportunity to learn skills and behaviors that will bring about cultural change and build an inclusive working environment - Coaching of desirable behaviors About the facilitator: Suzanne Price is the head of Price Global, a change agent specializing in Diversity and Inclusion based in NYC and Tokyo. Price Global provides experiential training programs and coaching for numerous Fortune 500 Multi-national clients in USA and Asia Pacific, facilitating cultural change through experiential and/or drama-based diversity programs. Suzanne's experience includes 5 years as Head of Diversity at UBS Securities Japan Ltd. Her methodology is highly experiential and based on a solid, practical background in applied psychology and change management. 2 scenarios: Scene 1: Barriers to women being promoted (from organizational level, manager's level and women themselves) Scene 2: Managing Flexible workers (includes returning from maternity leave) The facilitated session is highly engaging. The actors remain in character the whole time and interact with the audience throughout the session. The direction of facilitation takes on many directions according to the needs of the audience.
