the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) David Kappos will
be traveling to Tokyo later this month to attend a Court of Appeals of
the Federal Circuit/Tokyo High Court Joint Judges Conference. On this
trip he would like to meet with ACCJ members to discuss current issues
in the bilateral relationship regarding IP as well as trends in the
field, including especially the recently passed Leahy-Smith America
Invents Act (AIA).
