Originally from New Jersey, David Wouters first came to Japan in 1969 while employed by The Coca-Cola Company. Following ten years of marketing, training and recruiting, he turned down a promotion and transfer back to the soft drink giant's headquarters in Atlanta and soon ventured out to start a consultancy business specializing in human resources and management. In 1991 he opened the Japan branch of
InterSearch Worldwide. Part of that growth strategy was to become an ACCJ member. David is now one of the longest serving members of the ACCJ.
On December 15, David will speak to how he grew his bouquet consulting firm through trials and errors into the Japan Branch becoming of one of the largest executive search and consulting companies in the world with offices in more than 40 countries. David intends to talk directly about some of the challenges he faced, some of which InterSearch overcame,
some of which the firm did not, and most importantly lessons learned from both experiences. Finally, and something we all wish to learn more about, he will provide his insights into how to be successful in the
Japan market.
So here is your chance to learn first hand some of the things that "work" and some of the things that don't by a true entrepreneurial Japan hand. Don't miss this opportunity to warmly welcome David Wouters,
President, InterSearch Japan, to yet another valued talk in "THE ENTREPRENEURS FORUM/TALKING BUSINESS SERIES".
