How are your teams reacting to unforeseen crises such as 3.11? How are they responding to the slow and sluggish Japanese economy? When we face challenging times, team engagement is key to tackling difficulties quickly and effectively. Outward Bound uses a proven methodology of experiential learning, combined with the conscious use of metaphor, to build high-performing teams more effectively. Outward Bound's team-building programs strengthen organizational culture, accelerate organizational performance and improve results. What to expect This will be a 2.5 hour workshop using an experiential group exercise to create High Performing Teams that will work together as a group to get themselves out of difficult situations. This will be accompanied by pre-training and post-training briefings and discussions. What will you learn - the team-building process that leads to high performance teams - how to accept and react to new team dynamics - how to manage emotional conflicts against others and inside yourself - aspects of your leadership style when your team faces difficulties To facilitate participation and learning, attendance will be limited. We ask you to wear comfortable clothing and footwear and be prepared for light exercise. About the facilitators: Koichi Kajitani, Deputy School Director, Outward Bound Japan.
