A growing corporate mantra is the need for better brand storytelling, and very few multinationals are attempting the task themselves with the global sophistication of Yokohama-based Nissan Motor.
Dan Sloan, editor-in-chief of the Nissan Global Media Center, will speak on the company's development of Do-It-Yourself brand journalism, or Kotozukuri, a cost-efficient and compelling way to deliver the corporate narrative. Nissan's content is grabbing the attention of traditional media and advertisers, as the business environment for all becomes more challenging.
Sloan, a former Reuters journalist and author of "Nintendo and the Video Game Industry's Greatest Comeback," will update on Nissan's team of multimedia journalists, its online and TV efforts, and the road ahead as the roles of media and marketing converge further.
NOTE: This meeting is OFF THE RECORD
