Hiring the right people has always been a unique challenge for small and medium-sized companies in Japan, and particularly so for companies with foreign ownership. Even in the face of an evolving business landscape and accelerating globalization, today's Japanese job seekers continue to put a premium on the appearance of safety and stability offered by larger, well-established Japanese companies.

However, if you're smaller, not a well-known brand or have a short company history, chances are you are facing at least one of two common problems: it's a challenge for you to attract top talent and the amount you have to spend on the recruiting process is limited.

Please join us for a panel discussion on these common hiring challenges.

Panelists

Hatsumi Nishioka (Search & Selection Dept. Head, Randstad K.K.)
Ms. Nishioka currently leads Randstad's Japan recruiting business, consulting with both clients and candidates while promoting best practices such as employer branding and SNS tactics.

Yoko Ishida (Partner, McLagan / Aon Hewitt)
