Successfully leading teams means getting leverage from the whole team. Many companies miss this leverage opportunity, because of their leader's lack of training. Often they are promoted on the basis of their ability to get themselves organised and hit their targets. Leadership means getting the whole team to hit their targets– a big difference! The star player doesn't automatically become the star coach. Normally, this Dale Carnegie Training Workshop full curriculum is held over one day, so this 4 hour truncated session will concentrate on just two key elements: Outstanding Leadership and Outstanding Coaching.

Outstanding Leadership Curriculum: 5 Drivers of Success; Leadership Styles; Tap Into Your Leadership Potential; 12 Qualities of Outstanding Leaders; Create Power from Diversity; Get Organized and Stay That Way; Work Smarter, Not Harder.

Outstanding Coaching Curriculum: Create A Sense of Direction for Your Team; Earn The Trust of Your Team; Delegation's 6Ds of Productivity and 8 Steps; Maintain Accountability; Foster Creativity With Empowerment; Bring Out The Leadership Potential of Others; Resolve Conflicts Quickly and Avoid Emotional Upsets; Manage Change Proactively.

Dr. Greg Story worked in Nagoya from 1992-1997, pioneering a new sales and marketing operation for Austrade. He is now the owner and president of Dale Carnegie Japan and brings to the workshop Dale Carnegie Training's 101 years of accumulated learning on leadership development, together with his own 21 years of experience leading sales teams in Japan. A prolific writer and admired speaker on business issues, Dr. Story brings real world practitioner insights from his background in asset sales, trade, finance, and corporate training to bear on the problems leaders face every day.
