[Event Review] ACCJ Kansai 2013 New Year's Party

The ACCJ Kansai Chapter celebrated the New Year on January 24 in true Kansai fashion at the Hilton Osaka hotel.

It was a festive evening full of excitement from the honored guests to the party theme of 'Chinatown USA' and replete with exquisite Chinese cuisine and authentic lion dancers.

Kiran Sethi, Vice President - Kansai delivered the opening remarks. In his speech he announced the Chapter's goals for growth in the region and strengthening of the relationship between the foreign business community and the local governments and chambers of commerce. Mr. Sethi was followed by special guest, Seiji Kojima, the Ambassador for the Kansai Region from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. U.S. Consul General Patrick Linehan graciously offered a 'kampai' message full of optimism and hope.

There is little doubt that the ACCJ Kansai Chapter is headed for a year of promise and prosperity.
