Welcome to the History Pages of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan, launched to commemorate the ACCJ's founding on August 24, 1948. Starting with the first 12 years, from 1948 to 1960, we will celebrate our "kanreki" (還暦) by adding artifacts scanned from the ACCJ's archives over the coming weeks and months—and years—to come, as we look forward to the Chamber's next 60 years.
