The Intellectual Property (IP) Committee holds advocacy, capacity building and social events.  For example, the committee will provide input and opinions to both the U.S. and Japanese government on IP related issues. In addition, the committee will hold seminars and workshops for its members on topics related to IP  matters.  Speakers include U.S. and Japanese government officials.  The committee also hosts American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) each year for a exchange of views and current information about U.S. and Japanese IP laws.
