Monitors and (where appropriate) advocates a level playing field in the privatization of government agencies in Japan. Meets frequently with U.S. and Japanese government officials, influential politicians and representatives of other organizations to present members’ views. Has authored four white papers: "Applying Global Best Practices to Privatization in Japan," "Applying Global Best Practices to the Privatization of Narita Airport," and two editions of "Applying Privatization Global Best Practices to Japan Post," which concerns the ongoing privatization of banking, insurance, and delivery services by Japan's postal service.
