linked to each other - and research reveals that 60% of organizations don't link budgets to strategy - the result is a "strategic shortfall."
Is this an issue that plagues your company? What kind of actions can you initiate that will allow these two pieces to work together?
In a new series called Leadership Conversations, being launched this month by the Special Events Committee, Arthur Stern, CEO of Global Prime, will talk about his experience working in organizations that are struggling to execute their strategy. He will focus on options for integrating the budgeting and strategy creation processes.
Leadership Conversations is a program that is highly interactive, featuring a short presentation by the speaker, a moderated discussion of the central ideas, and a longer question and answer period focusing on the groups' experiences, case studies and questions. We hope you will walk away with a better idea on different approaches to focus on this
issue, with expertise provided by Mr. Stern and experiences of fellow members of the Chamber.
