What to expect: This workshop will focus on the question of leadership in post-quake Japan. Participants will explore different leadership styles and reflect upon which leadership qualities might be most suited to meet the challenges of this 'new normal.' You will reflect on your own leadership strengths and identify how you can leverage these going forward to deliver positive change. Behavior modeling and role-plays will bring these competencies to life, enabling participants to clearly visualize the look and impact of different behaviors, and so transfer workshop outcomes to deliver immediate results on the job. If you are a leader, project manager and any other member of an organization who has a need to communicate effectively, inspire, persuade, motivate or support teams or colleagues, this workshop is for you! What you will learn: - You will develop an understanding of different leadership strengths and how these might be leveraged to address the new challenges of post-quake Japan. - You will gain awareness of how different leadership characteristics 'look' and the impact of different leadership behaviors - You will enhance your understanding of your own leadership strengths and how to develop these to become a more effective leader in the 'new normal' What we will do: - Interactive exercises - Behavior-modeling (drama-based demonstrations) role-plays - Directed discussions - Peer and facilitator feedback About the Facilitator: Elizabeth Handover is the Asia Partner for Lumina Learning and is a well-known and experienced workshop leader and facilitator.
