Casinos in Japan: When and How They Will be Allowed and What This will Mean for Inbound Tourism

For years, various business groups in Japan have been lobbying for amendment of laws that would permit the building of casinos. The submission of bills to allow casinos is now getting closer, so to discuss the current status of the situation and the potential impact of casinos on Japan's tourism industry, we are fortunate to have Hiroshi Mizohata, a Special Advisor to the Cabinet, and Former Commissioner of the Japan Tourism Agency.
