The EEC has invited Keisuke Murakami, Director of the New and Renewable Energy Division at METI and other experienced leaders in the private sector to share specific ideas on the key opportunities and challenges that have resulted from the new FIT. After Director Murakami provides a basic overview of the FIT, panelists will be asked to weigh in on existing policies and provide recommendations on what needs to be done in order to make renewable energy investments viable in Japan now and beyond.
