ACCJ 2011 Volunteer of the Year Awarded to Yukiko Igarashi (Kansai)
The ACCJ recognized Kansai member Yukiko Igarashi as Volunteer of the Year for 2011 on May 7, 2012. Yukiko has been a long-standing member of the Women In Business Committee (WIBC), and she consistently volunteers her time and valuable network to support ACCJ activities and members.
In 2011, she was the leading member in creating a ground-breaking Diversity event for the WIBC, and she also volunteered an extraordinary amount of her own time and effort to support the ACCJ-Kansai Walk-a-thon. In addition, she has been instrumental in bringing together ACCJ-Kansai Corporate Sustaining Members (CS) and adding value to their memberships by encouraging them to attend and support WIBC events, the events of other committees, and the Walk-a-thon. Her efforts have served to greatly raise the profile of ACCJ-Kansai among its CS and other members.
