ACCJ-Kansai Participates in the Asia-Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce (APCAC) 2012 U.S. - Asia Business Summit
ACCJ hosted APCAC 2012 U.S.-Asia Business Summit in Tokyo. Kiran Sethi, Vice-President - Kansai and Akio 'Arthur' Matsumoto, Kansai External Affairs Committee, Chair attended along with more than 500 participants from around the Asia-Pacific region.
Many US Ambassadors from Asia, members of American Chambers and business leaders from Asia were in attendance. There were interesting sessions covering Innovation and Entrepreneurship, TPP, Governance, Financial Services, and Healthcare. Prime Minister of Japan, Yoshihiko Noda spoke on the second day. His emphasis was on the importance of the US-Japan relationship.
