ACCJ-Kansai Conducts Official Visit with Tatsuo Yada, Mayor of Kobe City
ACCJ-Kansai Vice President Kiran Sethi and ACCJ Kansai Leaders paid an official visit to Mr. Tatsuo Yada, Mayor of Kobe City to introduce Mr. Sethi's new responsibilities as the Head of ACCJ Kansai, and to share views on current developments in Kobe. Mr. Sethi also updated Mayor Yada on the vision and goals of the ACCJ Kansai along with the various activities being undertaken by the Kansai Chapter.
Discussion on this year's ACCJ Kansai Walk-A-Thon was especially highlighted. Mr. Sethi invited Mayor Yada to attend the event and there was mention of possibly including an annual Kobe City ceremony in the pre-Walk-A-Thon festivities, at which deserving companies would be recognized by the Kobe Gender Equality Office. Mayor Yada also requested that Mr. Sethi consider attending Town Meetings with local junior and high school students.
