Featured Committee: Direct Marketing Committee
The Direct Marketing Committee (DMC) strives to educate, enlighten, and assist its members on direct marketing issues in Japan.
The goal of the committee is to raise the level of knowledge about direct marketing as an efficient, measurable, and accountable marketing tool by sharing information on techniques and facilities for the direct marketing of products and services. The lectures, seminars and networking events hosted by the DMC are geared toward informing attendees of the issues relevant to direct marketers and raising the level of knowledge for all.
The DMC covers a broad range of direct marketing issues such as: regulations on proper data management, techniques for managing the offer, looking at new direct marketing avenues to grow business, and getting more marketing muscle out of your company's existing data.
The committee’s next event is "The Three Major Crises to Strike the Japanese Media Environment in 2011: Lessons from the Trenches," with speaker Harry Hill, which will be held on Wednesday, September 26th at the Tokyo American Club.
