Featured Committee: Architecture, Construction and Real Estate Committee
The Architecture, Construction and Real Estate (ACRE) Committee provides a forum for networking and information sharing in a community of approximately 100 member companies spanning the property industry in Japan.
Committee membership is comprised of American, multi-national and Japanese investors, designers and builders; materials, systems and equipment suppliers; and other related service providers. In recent years, sustainability and energy-efficient building technology has been a topic of discussion and advocacy efforts.
The next ACRE event, scheduled for November 27th will feature a panel of architects and developers spearheading the transformation of Niseko into a world-class international ski resort. This will be followed by a panel discussion on December 5th involving three individuals who have recently bought or built houses in Japan, to give chamber members interested in buying a house a forum to address their questions and concerns.
For January a joint Shinnenkai with other foreign chambers and property-related associations is being planned.
