The APEC Task Force has been re-chartered as the APEC and APCAC Task Force. Building on the strong working relationship that the Task Force built with APCAC during the Japan APEC year in 2010 and our closer coordination with APCAC to send coordinated public policy messages from U.S. business in the Asia-Pacific region, the ACCJ has been chosen by
APCAC to host the 2012 Asia Business Summit. The re-chartered Task Force will oversee strategy and planning for a successful Summit and create
valuable opportunities for our member companies at what will be a major networking, marketing and public policy event.
The kick-off meeting will include a discussion of key logistical issues, including dates and venues, planning for corporate sponsorship opportunities, and initial ideas on panels and substantive content for the Summit. Please plan to attend this kick-off meeting for what will be one of the Chamber's major initiatives in 2012.
