On Friday, June 22, the ACCJ welcomed Ambassador Clayton Yeutter, Senior Advisor at Hogan Lovells and former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture and United States Trade Representative. Ambassador Yeutter shared his insights on topics including Japan's potential participation in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), U.S. election politics, and the United States' trade policy with Asia.
Speaking to the ACCJ just days after Mexico and Canada were invited to join the TPP negotiations, Ambassador Yeutter highlighted the benefits of Japan's participation in TPP and explained how Japan is truly at a trade crossroads.
