The American Chamber of Commerce in Japan is committed to helping families get the most out of their experience here. To that end, the Living in Chubu Committee welcomes anyone interested in learning more about schools in the Nagoya area to join us for the Education Event on Saturday, March 10, at the WINC Aichi Building. The main event will be a panel discussion led by representatives from some of the area?s most prominent international institutions, including Nanzan, Nagoya International School, Aichi International School and the International Christian Academy of Nagoya. The panel will discuss issues related to international education in Japan, including the differences between public and private schools, secular and religious, and Japanese versus English as the medium for learning in the classroom. Following the discussion, the panel will answer questions from the audience. There will also be time to meet the representatives from the participating schools. We encourage anyone interested in international education to join us for what is sure to be an insightful, informative and engaging event! This event is free for anyone interested in exploring the many options available for educating their children in the Nagoya area. Refreshments will be served and, as always, socializing will be encouraged!
