As manufacturing operations in developing countries in Asia move to full-fledged enterprises selling directly to the market, there is a critical need for leaders and a culture to support them. However, many operations do not understand the changes necessary to make this transition. Dr. James Portwood will examine the characteristics of
corporate leadership necessary for an organization to become a full-function B-to-C market player, and the culture necessary to support this leadership.

This talk is aimed at APAC Regional Managers, leaders of local subsidiaries of American and Japanese Companies in Asia, and HR & Line
managers of original equipment manufacturers in Asia. Attendees will gain a new perspective on the challenges facing business in developing countries in Asia.
