An introduction to the Baird Brewing Company, an American craft beer start-up in based in Numazu, Shizuoka Prefecture now entering its thirteenth year serving customers in Japan and seven overseas markets. The talk, accompanied by the opportunity to sample over a dozen varieties of Baird beer as well as Nakameguro Taproom's signature New Haven style pizza and salads, will focus on the importance of the Baird Brewing company's core philosophy in informing its corporate strategy; the constraints and opportunities faced by the company given its base in Japan and a look at possible growth scenarios as the company looks ahead to the next five to ten years.
