  U.S. Government

The ACCJ maintains a close working relationship with the U.S. government. This interaction includes a monthly briefing with the U.S. Ambassador, Embassy officials acting as liaisons to ACCJ committees, and regular consultations with government officials visiting from Washington. The annual Washington, D.C. Doorknock also keeps the ACCJ in the loop on important developments in the U.S.-Japan relationship and provides the U.S. government with valuable input on policy prescriptions from ACCJ members actively doing business in Japan.
