  Business Organizations

The ACCJ enjoys close working relationships with Japanese business counterparts including the Nippon Keidanren, the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Japan Association of Corporate Executives. Through joint lunches and dinners, briefings, Viewpoints, and task forces, ACCJ members discuss issues of mutual concern. Past topics have included the overhaul of the Commercial Code, foreign direct investment, pension reform and free trade agreements.

The ACCJ also collaborates with the European Business Council (EBC) and other foreign chambers of commerce on trade, investment and regulatory reform issues. Actively contributing to the dialogue on economic issues on both sides of the Pacific, the ACCJ is a member of the U.S.-Japan Business Council, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

For more information on the ACCJ's activities with other business organizations, please contact the External Affairs Department at 03 3433 7358.
