Rumiko Obata, the 5th generation owner of Obata Brewery and maker of Manotsuru sake from Sado Island in Niigata, and Harald deRopp, who experienced sake brewing at the Gakkogura owned and operated by Obata Brewery, will talk about the business of sake brewing, the process and experience of sake brewing.
Of interest to members of the Alternative Investment Committee will be their story of expanding Manotsuru and investing in a new sake-making venue on Sado Island.
